Responsibilities:

Thorough knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, ImageReady, InDesign (and/or Quark) and Acrobat as well as proficiency in Flash, Fireworks and Dreamweaver
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, DHTML, JavaScript and Ajax

A nation-wide e-learning company is searching for an Interactive Flash Developer to join its highly creative, collaborative and fast-paced e-learning design and development team. As pioneers in their field, this company has been inventing and reinventing the most powerful learning and cost-effective tools for training. The small group, which will be moving from its current location in the East Bay to San Francisco in late summer, works with large, well-known companies in technology, entertainment and other industries. This role will involve some travel and some client consultation during initial project strategy phases.
The ideal candidate will be a creative, innovative person with a willingness to experiment; will have a passion for Flash and games; at least three years of Flash development experience; and some experience with e-learning or learning management systems.
Responsibilities:
Work on the technical development of e-learning courses
Create interactive prototypes in Flash
Model the final prototype into an efficient and stable engine for production
Participate in the development portion of production
Work on and improve existing code
Thorough and effective debugging of projects
Requirements:
More than three years of experience as a Lead Flash Developer in creating interactive experiences Intermediate to advanced ActionScript skills (understanding of AS 2 required; AS 3 not necessary); bonus points for XML, JavaScript, PHP, ASP, JSP, ColdFusion and Flash Communication Server skills
