Title: Regional Online Sales Director
Location: Los Angeles

A worldwide leader in sports management, marketing and media is seeking a Regional Online Sales Director to be based in its Los Angeles office. The Regional Online Sales Director will be an integral part of the national sales organization. He/she will responsible for managing a territory and generating revenue through aggressive sales of online media and business partnerships in order to achieve success for the company's network of sports websites and digital products.

Responsibilities:
• Lead online sales efforts in the assigned territory, achieving quotas and maximizing revenues
• Successfully manage national consumer accounts by fostering client relationships
• Develop and deliver pitches for new business
• Define, prospect, negotiate and secure media partnerships
• Contribute creative ideas and sales leadership

Requirements:
• 3-5 years of overall media sales experience, including 1-3 years of selling online advertising
• Experience marketing to 12-34 year-old males
• A history of managing national consumer accounts
• A successful track record of new business development through sales, sponsorships and business partnerships
• Excellent presentation skills as well as mastery of media sales and processes including closing the deal
• Desire to eventually move into a management role and oversee a team of sales execs within a territory
• Willingness to travel across the region
• An interest and/or understanding of the sports industry is a huge plus

Title: Sales Manager - Teen Social Networking / Virtual Community
Location: Los Angeles

A leading social networking site with over 12 million registered users and the highest average visit time among all social media web sites is seeking a dynamic, strategic and savvy Sales Manager with a "killer instinct." Reporting to the VP of Sales, this new role will primarily be responsible for the generation and selling of online advertising/sponsorships to senior-level contacts at both major Los Angeles-area entertainment companies and advertising agencies. Due to the company's explosive growth (10x in 2 years!) similar roles are being added in Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, and New York. This is a very unique opportunity to join a stable, well-funded, pioneering company experiencing accelerated growth and success.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in online media sales at a top publisher or top 20 Media Metrix site and is an energetic self-starter with a consultative sales approach who is proactive in driving revenue and increasing client base. You must be results-driven, have strong analytical skills and be committed to creating new business opportunities. Candidates MUST have a deep understanding of the Los Angeles market with a strong entertainment and agency Rolodex, especially in the media, apparel, wireless and consumer electronics space. Experience in the entertainment, gaming, social networking or Web 2.0 environments is required.

Responsibilities:
Proactively prospect, qualify, grow and maintain a regional territory account list
• Engage and strategize with senior-level executives at client companies to demonstrate how the company can drive revenue and value to their business
• Develop and cultivate deep relationships with client' senior executives
• Identify and understand trends within client markets and industries
• Hit target revenue quota (quarterly)
• Pitch new business to advertising agencies and direct clients
• Proactively provide smart client research and industry-specific information
• Update and create sales proposals
• Update and maintain focused sales pipeline

Requirements:
More than three years of online media sales experience
• Relationships with top marketing decision-makers at traditional Los Angeles-area companies and agencies
• Proven track record of success driving revenue through the development of long-term strategic relationships
• Demonstrated track record of structuring and managing complex negotiations to successful closure and delivery (at a 7-figure level)
• Ability to convert clients' national TV dollar and large portal spending into marketing relationships
• Understand how technology works and the ability to explain in ordinary terms
• B.A./B.S. degree
• Ability to travel frequently throughout territory and quarterly to Bay Area (California) office
