Title: Account Director
Location:
San Francisco

An integrated advertising agency is searching for a highly organized, lively, seasoned Account Director who will be responsible for overseeing the client account, building strong client relationships, providing strategic and marketing leadership. The Account Director will also manage an internal team, fostering collaboration, flawless project execution and career growth.

Reporting to the VP, Client Services, the Account Director will work on an Account of Record (AOR) account in the B2B software/tech space. Types of initiatives may include brand and demand generation campaigns (email, banners, landing pages and microsites, blog/social media and potentially some offline).

The ideal candidate will be a proven performer who has a track record of managing accounts that yield successful financial performance.

Responsibilities:
Oversee account; manage clients in a professional, responsive and rational manner
• Work with clients to uncover business needs and objectives; craft appropriate strategies; and identify/implement programs to help achieve client goals
• Create and interpret effective analysis to support marketing recommendations
• Understand clientsÕ business; generate new ideas to enhance client performance
• Build trust, credibility and client referrals
• Develop multi-tiered agency-client relationships and ties
• Oversee account supervisors, managers and/or account coordinators to ensure streamlined project execution
• Foster teamwork and a constructive work environment
• Provide team leadership that rewards problem-solving, creativity and critical thinking
• Maintain or improve account profitability; lead forecasting efforts for the account
• Balance client demands with participation in broader agency initiatives
• Proactively share knowledge throughout agency and leverage learning from previous projects and campaigns
• Work closely with VP, Client Services to develop and refine agency and account processes
• Constantly strive for career development within the agency; keep up with the latest digital marketing innovations

Requirements:
More than seven years of marketing and/or advertising experience
• More than seven years of account- or project-management experience
• Agency experience; broad industry expertise
• Demonstrated track record of client relationship, development and service
• Proven experience in managing teams, working cross-functionally within an organization
• Strong knowledge or experience in Internet businesses, account management/coordination, client/campaign strategy
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Project, Excel and Powerpoint
• A detail-oriented, solution-oriented professional with confidence and a lively personality
• Collaborative, adaptable/flexible, positive and proactive
• Comfortable presenting and managing internal teams

Title: Account Supervisor
Location:

A boutique integrated advertising agency is searching for an Account Supervisor to oversee the client account; build strong client relationships; provide strategic consultancy; and manage internal teams to ensure projects and campaigns are planned and executed flawlessly. Reporting to the VP, Client Services, the Account Supervisor will also partner with senior team members to develop strategic POV and project recommendations.

Responsibilities:
Oversee account;manages clients in a professional, responsive and rational manner
• Build strong client relationships and demonstrates solid knowledge of clientsÕ business
• Oversee Account Managers and/or Account Coordinators to ensure streamlined project execution
• Oversee scope and budget to ensure profitability; lead forecasting efforts for account
• Manage internal teams to ensure all work is delivered on strategy and meet client objectives
• Offer strategic consultancy to clients based on knowledge and experience in the digital arena
• Inform strategy and creative with customer insight and business knowledge
• Understand and articulate project and campaign objectives and measurement strategy to clients and internal teams
• Proactively share knowledge throughout agency and leverage learning from previous projects and campaigns
• Proactively work to identify the potential for new initiatives with existing clients
• Work closely with Account Managers and/or Account Coordinators to successfully manage larger, more complex initiatives, from kickoff through launch
• Work closely with VP, Client Services, to develop and refine processes within the agency
• Constantly strive for career development within the agency; keep up with the latest digital marketing innovations

Requirements:
More than five years of direct marketing and/or advertising experience
• A background that includes more than five years of account- or project-management experience and agency experience
• Demonstrated ability to execute multiple, interdependent, end-to-end projects
• Familiarity with Internet technology
• Proficiency in MS Project, Excel and Powerpoint
• Excellent communication skills; able to clearly convey ideas, plans and thoughts
• Ability to work well with staff, clients and vendors
• Solid planning and organizing skills in order to meet deliverables
• Strong decision-making skills; able to make good decisions quickly during stressful situations
• Proactive approach, collaborative, adaptable and solution-oriented
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, positive, and open-minded
